Kits now include a reinforced catch. You can find details here.
A SCAR is a rifling device that goes on the end of the barrel. It spins the dart and helps accuracy. Scars come in a variety of shapes and sizes. They are recommended by not required.
If you plan on using a smaller scar (less than 3/4″ / 19mm in diameter), choose the 15.5″ or 40cm KuryKafe barrel option. Worker Scars (1,2,3,4) work well for this option.
If you don’t plan on using a scar, or plan on using a larger diameter scar (a good database here) choose the 18.5″ or 47cm KuryKafe barrel option.
If you’re wanting to use the Silverfox Pentavictus Scar, choose the 18.0″ 0.527 barrel option.
The spring options are K31 for 115 FPS, K24 for 150 FPS and K18 for 195 FPS. You can find chrono results here. The lynx is compatible with all longshot and talonclaw springs. I only recommend the 15.5″ 0.527 barrel option for use with the k31 spring, as well as using fresh darts.
The Lynx is compatible with worker talon mags (or printed mags with the talon profile) and springer short darts (workers, ACCs, etc – any dart where the tip is smaller diameter than the foam).
